YOU are your motivation

I used to look at fit people and think,
"It comes easy for them."
"I wish I had their motivation."
"I wish I had the time by myself to go do that."
I had a long list of excuses that I justified for why I couldn't workout and eat healthy consistently.
When I became a coach, my whole mindset shifted and I realized the power we have of what we do with the thoughts in our head.
I realized that we can use everything in life as a roadblock or a launchpad.
I realized that I can keep wishing or I can claim my power and make things happen no matter what.
I can workout with kids in the room, or I can wake up early and do it.
I can say I don't have the time to make my dreams come true and keep scrolling Facebook wasting time (just keeping it real!) or I can make the most of my time and do the activities that bring success.
I made ME my motivation. I reminded myself that each day either gets me one day closer or one day further away from my goal. I FOUGHT for where and who I wanted to be. Motivation doesn't come.. You create it!
I was kind to myself and remembered that each new is a clean slate. I gave myself a cheat meal each week. I was patient and when I got there...
It was SO WORTH IT! The journey that got me there made me so much stronger inside and out. I craved the empowerment that came after each workout.
Start now.. Why not today?? Why not tomorrow?? Why wait to FEEL the best you possibly can!!

Me, a Speaker?!?!

This is so CRAZY for me to see...my face on a countdown for a team call with thousands of people. Me.. a small town girl, who is just now finally connecting with who I am at the age of 29. I get major anxiety even giving a talk at church, or standing in front of people. That's not where I'm comfortable...but I also know that we can't grow unless we are continually getting uncomfortable.

So I'm embracing this opportunity and I'm speaking about "letting obstacles EMPOWER you, not DEVOUR you."

Now to practice breathing.... :) :) :)

Welcome to my Blog!!

I'm so excited to be back up and blogging!! I'd neglected it for awhile, but now I've got time to dive in and just TYPE!! I love how therapeutic it is for me, and how many answers I get when I just let my fingers fly and all my thoughts seem to make sense.

Today - I decided to start making videos...HUGE STEP OUTSIDE MY COMFORT ZONE!!! AHHHHH!!

But I decided I was going to make a rule for myself. Only ONE TAKE, and I don't re -watch and critique myself!! ;)

So here the world gets to view and see ME, in all my imperfections, quirks and hear part of my story!!

Here's a sneak peek into ME and just PART of my journey as an Independent Team Beachbody Coach!

Kids, Homework and Clean Eating

My thyroid got the best of me today and I forced myself to STAY DOWN. I was so tired of laying down all day though, although I definitely benefited from the rest.. So when Addy got home from school, I made them Strawberry Shakeology with spinach and fruit in it, and spinach cakes for an after school snack. #MomWin!

They were in heaven!!

And then we turned on our favorite educational playlist on YouTube and did some homework. Mason and McKinley got to trace letters and numbers and Addy did her 1st grade notebook from school. This doesn't happen very often, so I soaked in the 20-30 minutes that they ALL STAYED FOCUSED! 4 kids under 6 can be so chaotic sometimes!

That was my success for the day ðŸ˜‰.

Always recognize your successes!!! As Moms we easily find all the things we didn't do - instead focus on all the things you DID DO! <3

Why Not YOU??

I woke up this morning with such a grateful heart and I poured out my heart in a prayer of gratitude to my Heavenly Father, for placing this opportunity in my life.
I don't know about you, but It's not every day that you can combine your own personal health and fitness, your family, a team of some of your closest friends and your business together and create this amazing life that truly has given you such unbelievable freedom! I remember just 3 years ago - I woke up with this pit in my stomach, this dread of facing the day, this frustration looking in the mirror and I so desperately wanted CHANGE!!!
So my goal for the month of May is to continue to pay that forward! I'm accepting 5 * NEW COACHES onto my team to be personally mentored by me! We have a top ten team training system, a team that will welcome you with open arms and we're united as Unbreakable Nation with a goal to lift up, inspire and assist women in finding their purpose, strength and letting their light SHINE!!
My commitment is to teach you exactly what I have done to be successful the past 2.5 years and how I was able to retire my husband from working at home with 4 little kids running around, diaper changes, car pool and all! We have a duplicatable system teaches you how to share vs sell, how to lead by example, how to use social media if you have no idea what you are doing {which was totally me} and to reach the level of success that you strive for!
Whether this is a hobby or a full time career or somewhere in the middle, we can make it work for you!
But what I'm looking for is 5 highly motivated people that are go getters, are passionate about helping others, are committed to their own health and fitness and truly want to learn how to make this business grow!!!
If that is you? If you are even slightly considering it, please complete the application below! I will be selecting 5 new coaches this week for the program!
Now is the time----> Trust me there are no perfect conditions! If you want to make a change you have to leap and build your wings on the way down! I am so grateful I did...and having 3 kids under 4 at the time wasn't exactly CONVENIENT, but I wanted CHANGE! You can do it too!!
Complete this application today to be considered! >>>>https://unbreakablenation.wufoo.com/forms/coach-application/

Destroy What Destroys You

We all have something that holds us back. Whether it's mental or physical. Some may struggle with depression, some have a chronic injury or sickness. Some have crazy busy work schedules. But the common thing that binds us together, is we all have trials and struggles! Don't let those, whom you stare at and wish you were, fool you. Every single one of us have something that we struggle with.

I have let mine hold me back for way too many years. I made excuses day after day...I have 3 kids, ages 4 and under. You know I used the excuse that I'm tired, and that I can't do home videos because, when I start a video they're crawling all over me. I used it EVERYDAY! And as each day went by that I hated what I saw when I looked in the mirrow, I had no one to blame but myself. I know what it's like to be depressed, and exhausted. But I also know what it's like to feel alive! To feed your body real fuel that makes it feel good!! Each day I'm taking a punch at what destroys me. What you feed your body can change that depression and make you want to get off your butt and workout. It's a cycle: Food - Exercise- Mental Health...they all feed into each other. If you wake up and workout, you're going to go eat a healthy breakfast..and after both those things, I guarantee you feel better, than if you had slept in, drug out of bed and didn't eat good. Whatever it is that is holding you back...destroy it.

DESTROY WHAT DESTROYS YOU
Never say never, and never say can't. I have to tell myself this everytime I workout. When I'm gasping for air and thinking I need to stop, because I "can't do it! I think of this picture:
..:
Your body can handle it. You body can do more than you think. Your mind is like a tv, and you need to learn how to change the channel from can't, to can. Train your mind to know howincredible you are. How strong you really are. Because you are. I have to do this everyday. I'm at a stage where I do Insanity with my husband when he gets home at night, because I won't stop if he's there.  He pushes me to go faster and work harder. But I know I'll get to a point where I can do it on my own and not stop.
~be patient with yourself..the results will come
~do not give up
~you will never "find" time, you have to "make" time.
Destroy What Destroys You
It's all about where you want to go, and who you want to be. And that result is worth the sweat and tears. I have shed many and still do. But I'm fighting and destroying what destroys me. Because I know I can. I love the line to a favorite song of mine: "I know that I can, cause I know who I am.." Each one of us has a fire inside and the potential to live life to your fullest. You have to dig deep and ignite it.  Life shouldn't be lived being trapped down by our struggles. Let's get up and fight them.
